Toadstool Cottages

I purchase a variety of sized glass jars with lids. Using air dry clay, I mold the mushroom shape on the jar and lid separately to ensure the jar can still be opened and closed. Uning sculpting tools, I sculpt out doors, windows, bricks, moss, flowers, and more. Once the clay dries I use acrylic and watercolors to paint each unique mushroom. Finally I use modge podge to create a protective coating.
