Thorned Rose Gifts

I create wooden personal and household accessories, including coasters (my flagship item), wall art, wooden jewelry, key chain fobs and phone stands. Using self-developed methods and my own original designs I begin with raw materials, staining and finishing panels as appropriate to each project. I engrave and cut those panels using a laser, and then I assemble and finish each item by hand as appropriate. In the case of my coasters, for example, that involves making them waterproof. I hand-color some of my items using my own homemade inks, and also make some of my own stains. Everything I design and build combines beauty, utility and durability -- often with a touch of whimsy -- so that my customers may not only admire their purchases, but also enjoy making daily use of them for many years to come.
