Flame Painted Copper: all the colors come from a very hot flame using propane and oxygen. The strength of the flame at different temperatures creates the colors. The freehand application results in earrings that are alike but not perfectly so. Factors such as humidity, copper size and thickness play a role in the copper colors. Elegant Ear Cuffs: I use sterling silver, 14K yellow and rose gold filled wire adorned with the finest Austrian crystals and semi-precious beads using wire wrapping techniques. The ear cuffs with dangles are created by soldering, fold forming, annealing, cold connections sterling silver metal clay and flame painting. I apply a protective coating to all my designs to prevent tarnishing and skin sensitivity and make them easy to keep clean.
